The following is a list of restaurants that I recommend highly. These places can be found in and around Pattaya and Jomtien Beach. From fine dinning to all you can eat barbecue.

Sit and relax at the Light House Restaurant as the waves break right in front of you. Watch the bright orange sunset as you dine on Thai food while sipping your favorite drink.
This restaurant is not expensive but you will find the food very tasty. One of the best places for an inexpensive Thai meal or seafood while enjoying a nice sea view. You will find this place down the road a bit from the Pattaya City Sign

It has a lot of sea side tables where you can dine at the waters edge and many more tables in the main section. Fresh SeaFood is the main attraction here and it is an excellent place to bring your Thai girl friend along with her family. When the check comes it will not break your wallet.

Cabbages & Condoms Birds & Bees Restaurant
This restaurant offers a stunning view of the beach. The long walk through the resort offers paths full of flowers and things of interest. Once you get to the restaurant you will have many choices of places to sit. You can even wander down to the Skinny Dip Bar and enjoy a drink only a stone's throw from the water. The bar offers coffee, fruit juices, and light snacks for beachcombers and sunbathers. Dinner offer an excellent view of the colorful sunset. Fine Thai food but not an inexpensive place to dine. You can find the resort and restaurant at the end of soi 4 off of Pratamnok road.

The Fish International All You Can Eat Buffet For 169 Baht With SeaFood
If you are looking for a place to take your Thai girl or a bunch of them this might be the place for you. Only 169 baht for all you can each per person with a very large selection to choose from. A varity of meats including chicken, pork, beef, fat back, liver and a good slection of sea food. Salad, Thai dishes, sweets and even ice cream. barbecue right at your table and enjoy a night out for less
This restaurant is located off of second road. When you pass The Big C which will be on your right you will see a gas station right after that. Take the next right after the gas station and you will see it located on the right side of the soi. There is plenty of parking. Music is also played and they have a huge big screen where they show music videos.
Au Bon Coin is my favorite restaurant in Pattaya. Jose, the French owner, doesn't believe much in advertising and doesn't even have a sign on the main road leading to his restaurant but thanks to people like me, he is full most every night so a reservation is required. The hardest part about going to Au Bon Coin is finding it; it is located on a soi that runs between Soi Five and Six off Pratamnak Road near the Adriatic Palace Hotel. There is a yellow sign on the side soi advertising a pharmacy, turn off Pratamnak Soi Six there and go past Romanasia Restaurant and Au Bon Coin is just past it on the same side of the road. It looks like a two story house just off the road. Au Bon Coin's telephone number is 038-364-542 for reservations.
It's not cheap with prices being about the same as Mata Hari or Bruno's but IMO it's the best restaurant in Pattaya for the money. My favorite dishes are sautéed shrimp, roast duck, and leg of lamb but everything is good, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday every week. Jose and his wife run the restaurant with Jose overseeing the dining area and his wife the kitchen. They are both very involved in making sure that all of the dishes are as ordered and do a great job, give Au Bon Coin a try, you will be glad that you did.
