Condo Renovations in Thailand is a very tricky area as the quality of workmanship changes from day to day so to meet the goal of a nice place to live one must be at the construction site many times each day and understand the Thai way of thinking!!! I first met Dancewatcher about 5 years ago and Tik maybe 2 years later. For the first year I thought D/W was a con man because he seemed too nice and friendly. After awhile,seeing him take care of his friends and acquaintances I realized he was just genuinely nice. We became good friends and when I leave to return to the U.S. every year he takes care of my condos and motorbike and car for me. I have never had a problem.
A couple of years ago I bought a condo and had it stripped out and re-done. It came out well but I had to check it constantly and encountered many problems that had to be corrected. It took 4 months and was a real pain. Last year a condo I had purchased was completed and ready to be fitted out. I decided to use Tik and D/W to help relieve some of the stress of construction. Dancewatcher does not do the work but Tik knows of good crews that complete the work on time and do a very nice job. I had seen his condo being done and was using the same crews. It was finished in a month. The problems still happened but not as many and with Tik & D/W checking every day about twice a day and me checking when I wanted to the problems were caught early and resolved quickly.
D/W had many good ideas about wiring and lighting and placement of the built in furniture. Whenever I wanted some input he was available and helpful. I will certainly use Tik for my next condo.
